Sailboat Charters in Bahamas Islands

Just 50 miles off the east coast of Florida are the beautiful and tropical islands of the Bahamas, with pristine white sugary sand beaches and crystal clear azure blue waters.  Very popular places that sailboat charters visit are Nassau, Grand Bahamas Island, Paradise Island, Abaco, San Salvador, Eleuthera.  Sail to the Abacos to Marsh Harbour, a thriving large marina town and a good jumping off place to explore other islands and cays like Elbow, Great Guana, Man O War and Green turtle all just a short distance away.  The Abacos are known for spectacular sailing waters and exciting reef diving and snorkeling around the hidden coves and caves.  The Great Abaco Reef, we are told, is the 3rd largest barrier reef in the world.

The Bahamas are home to the largest colony of Flamingos in the world, the Bahamas Parrot lives here too.  The Bahamas are also home to many different species of colorful tropical fish, striking colorful birds and animals including the Hutia which is close in resemblance to the guinea pig.  Roaming the islands are horses, wild donkeys, boars, iguana, turtles and many more.

Nassau is the capital and a thriving vibrant town filled with shops, boutiques, restaurants, casinos, bars.  Shopping is duty free. A very exciting and interesting place to visit during your adventurous sailboat charter.
