You may already know how to sail small sailboats and want to earn your sailing certification so you are able to have permission from the sailboat charter companies to bareboat charter a large sailboat but you need to be more confident in handling a larger sailboat than you have been used to sailing. Sailing schools will teach you this Advanced Sailing for bareboat chartering. Most sailing schools teach weekly courses and there are some schools that offer a live aboard course which would be a lot of fun and comradeship and a very unique experience. Sailing schools also offer a refresher course to help you feel confident at the helm.
